A Look in the Eyes of Resistance documents the live of two Polish Jews, Moshe and Malka Baran, who married after World War II.
Their stories depict two very different experience of the Holocaust. In their own ways, they both managed to survive with spirits unbroken.
Moshe was a resistance fighter who joined the partisan groups that fought the Germans from the swamps and the forests of Eastern Europe. Malka, on the other hand, was a young girl who spiritually resisted the Nazi’s attempts to destroy her. She did this by escaping to a place in her soul that was safe. Both Moshe and Malka share their stories with a young filmmaker who made the documentary at the age of fifteen.
